Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) Trauma Therapy

Healing Trauma and Finding Peace Through EMDR Therapy
Whether you're facing trauma, anxiety, depression, or life stress, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) can be a transformative approach to understanding and healing. In our sessions, I offer a secure space where we use EMDR to target and reprocess painful memories, helping to reduce their emotional impact. Together, we’ll work to identify patterns, build coping strategies, and foster resilience. My goal is to empower you to find clarity, self-compassion, and long-lasting change. EMDR therapy can be a powerful journey toward self-exploration, healing, and personal growth.
Cognitive & Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Transform Your Thoughts and Behaviors with CBT
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a powerful, evidence-based approach to overcoming challenges like anxiety, depression, and stress. In our sessions, CBT provides a structured framework to identify and reframe negative thought patterns that influence your emotions and actions. By recognizing these patterns, we can develop healthier, more adaptive responses, leading to meaningful change in how you feel and approach life. Together, we’ll work to build practical skills and strategies that foster resilience, clarity, and personal growth, empowering you to face challenges with confidence and renewed perspective.

Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)

Find Balance and Build Resilience with Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) offers tools to manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and build a life you feel more in control of. DBT is especially effective for those who struggle with overwhelming feelings, impulsive behaviors, or difficulty navigating interpersonal challenges. In our sessions, you’ll learn skills to regulate emotions, tolerate distress, practice mindfulness, and communicate effectively, fostering a sense of balance and resilience. Together, we’ll work to help you understand and accept yourself while making meaningful changes, empowering you to lead a more fulfilling, balanced life.
Addiction Therapy
Break Free, Reclaim Your Life
Addiction can affect all aspects of your life, creating a cycle that feels impossible to break. I provide specialised therapy for individuals struggling with alcohol, drug, and gambling addictions. Using evidence-based approaches, I help you uncover the root causes of your addiction, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and build a sustainable path toward recovery. My aim is to support you in reclaiming control and rediscovering a sense of purpose.

Intensive EMDR

Make Lasting Changes with Intensive EMDR
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or exhausted from carrying the same emotional weight, intensive EMDR can help you move forward.
At Miss Jane the Counsellor, these longer, focused sessions are designed to gently support you in processing trauma, anxiety, workplace stress, and deeply held emotional experiences. Rather than stopping and starting each week, intensive EMDR allows your brain the time and space it needs to properly work through what’s been holding you back.
This approach is especially helpful for those navigating complex trauma, burnout, or significant life stressors, where traditional weekly sessions may feel too slow or fragmented.
You will be supported in a safe, structured, and compassionate environment, with a strong focus on emotional regulation, stability, and pacing. As the process unfolds, many clients experience a reduction in distress, increased clarity, and a renewed sense of control and confidence.
If you’re ready to create meaningful change and move toward a calmer, more grounded version of yourself, intensive EMDR offers a powerful pathway forward.
